Orbitz Worldwide Names Jim Shaughnessy Chief Administrative Officer |

Expands leadership role across multiple corporate disciplines |
Orbitz Worldwide (NYSE:OWW) , a leading global online travel company, today announced that Jim Shaughnessy will assume the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.
Jim Shaughnessy joined Orbitz Worldwide (http://corp.orbitz.com/) as Senior Vice President and General Counsel prior to the company going public in July 2007.
In his new role, he will continue to manage the company's legal and government affairs teams. Additionally, he will lead the company's shared services, which include corporate communications, human resources and security & compliance.
"The streamlining of these functional areas under Jim's leadership furthers our goal of delivering shared services that are high-quality, efficient, and well integrated into our operating businesses," said Steve Barnhart, CEO and president of Orbitz Worldwide. "I appreciate Jim taking on this expanded role where he will help develop our human capital, ensure our corporate goals are clear to all employees, and protect, secure and advance our intellectual property."
Jim Shaughnessy has more than 25 years of experience as a strategic executive. Prior to joining Orbitz Worldwide, he has managed legal matters for leading technology companies, including Lenovo Group Ltd., Peoplesoft, Hewlett Packard and Compaq.

Jim earned his master of public policy and Juris Doctor, cum laude from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree, summa cum laude from Northern Michigan University.
