New CEO Takes the Helm at Fazoli's |

Veteran restaurant operator and executive Carl Howard has been named Chief Executive Officer for Fazoli's 'fast Italian' restaurants. |
Howard most recently served as president and CEO of Damon's International. Prior to that, he led the growth efforts for bd's mongolian barbeque and was the president and operating partner of H&H Management, a multi-unit Damon's franchise group.
Howard plans to spend his first weeks with the company working in Fazoli's restaurants around the country getting to know the associates, guests and operations.
"Fazoli's is a truly unique brand," Howard said. "It is well-positioned in the quick service niche and its commitment to quality is exceptional. I am very excited to be a part of the next stages of growth for this concept and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such an outstanding organization."
Howard replaces Bob Weissmueller who recently retired.
With headquarters in Lexington, Ky., Fazoli's has 286 restaurants in 26 states.
